Worship gatherings at Encounter are authentic and edgy — and we'll "ignite" a passion to discover what it means to pursue Jesus beyond a weekly event, beyond religion, and in the context of real life.

What You Can Expect At An Encounter Gathering
At Encounter, you'll find a welcoming casual atmosphere. We invite you to come as you are. Some of us have piercings and tattoos, and we ALL have a past.Our live music has an edge that expresses we're serious about giving our all in worship. We are passionate about using the arts and media to creatively communicate meaningful truths. Plus, we encourage texting, Facebook, and Twitter during the gathering to make our worship even more interactive.
You'll experience a message that is challenging, yet encouraging, as we invite you to be a part of the conversation. Come as you are, but leave changed — closer to Jesus. Read below about our fun and engaging EncounterKids environments.

Kids Love EncounterKids!
While our kids hang out with everyone during the worship time, we have a cool new kids experience during the teen/adult message and discussion time. They can join with other kids their age and engage in fun learning activities that will help them Encounter God and Experience Community in their own way.
For older kids (1st to 6th Grade), we're talking fun music, goofy videos, and plastic balls — but solid stuff on how to be like Jesus and engage our world. When the weather is right, the back yard of the Pattern House is a great place for games and outside activities.
For babies and toddlers (Birth to Kindergarten), we're talking a nurturing, fun, and stimulating environment. All our kids volunteers have been screened and trained so that parents can feel secure.
