About The Launch Team

A Launch Team is a temporary team of people who serve to publicly launch a new church plant.

Involvement in the Encounter Launch Team means serving on Serving Team for just 6 weeks into launch. And while your commitment could be more, we simply want you to give of your time, talent, and treasure during that time.

We ask each person on our Launch Team to embrace the 3 E's plus one.

ENCOUNTER

Serve strategically in Launch Meetings and prelaunch gatherings (such as Sneak-Peak Worship Gatherings) to publicly launch the Encounter worship gatherings

EXPERIENCE

Participate and 
grow as part of an 
Encounter LifeGroup and our prelaunch gatherings

ENGAGE

Invest your life into those far from God, both personally and through Encounter Community Impact and awareness efforts

+EXTEND

Give relationally and financially in a consistent manner during your commitment with Encounter

PRACTICAL EXPECTATIONS

– Serve at least 6 weeks into launch
– Consider a 12-24 month time commitment
– One Community Impact/Awareness effort per month
—One Encounter Huddle gathering per month
– Share with friends and give out flyers and invite cards
– Invite 5 friends to each Sneak Peek Worship Gathering
– Invite ten friends for Grand Opening date
– Volunteer for worship gathering role

These are the “early moments” of a movement within Helena to lead a generation into a growing relationship with Christ. If you haven't already thought about it, we challenge you to seriously consider being part of our team.
