Today, there are 33 DAYS before the Encounter Grand Opening on 10-10-10. We are asking you to join us in what God is doing and is going to do in these last 40 days.

Pray with us. Act with us. Imagine the impact we could have in Helena if each one of us is individually involved in making Helena a better place. Imagine the lives that could be touched. Imagine how the spiritual landscape of our community could be changed even BEFORE the grand opening.

Why Are You Standing Around?

Today, we are looking at Genesis 42:1-2 ...

When Jacob heard that grain was available in Egypt, he said to his sons, "Why are you standing around looking at one another? I have heard there is grain in Egypt. Go down there, and buy enough grain to keep us alive. Otherwise we’ll die."

Jacob and his family were facing a severe famine in their land. Yet, there was food available in Egypt. The father's response is almost humorous! "Why are you standing around looking at one another?"

We just finished four days around Labor Day weekend meditating upon the passionate fires God is igniting in our bones. Have you got it? Did you identify what moves you to your core? If so, now it is time to do something about it.

Imagine our Father God saying to us, "Why are you standing around looking at one another?"

Ask God today to solidify and confirm that fire within you. Furthermore, ask Him to motivate you beyond your comfort zone and do something about that passion in your bones - you know you cannot stay silent!
